California Dreamin – The Mamas & The Papas (Easy Guitar Songs Beginner Guitar Lesson BS-704)

In this guitar lessons you will learn how to play California Dreaming by The Mamas & The Papas. It’s a Stage 7 song, so still for beginners but getting a small more complex with more fascinating chords and strumming patterns. Very excellent grower this one, can be played quite simple or developed to play more like the recording with a more complex rhtyhm try out and pushed chords. Before people question, the intro sounds a small different to the recording cos on the original there is more than one guitar playing. I was effective on an arrangement of them together to make it sound more like the record but them chose to keep it simple!! The Justin Guitar Beginners Songbook contains 100 songs specifically structured for beginners and there are 10 songs for each stage of the Beginners Course. See the web site for the beginner lessons and more info including full song list, try out songs and order details. Justin, I’m looking for some jazz numbers to perform for my A Level routine and so they need to be grade 6+. Could you post a lesson on Joe Pass’ translation of Autumn Leaves from the ‘Unforgettable’ album? It would be very appreciated. Also if you know any other jazz numbers of that standard it would be helpful :-)
