I came across this book by accident at a community book pile. I’ve seen many different guitar chord charts (and posters) both online and in print – but I bought this one because…

1 – I’m a beginner for the most part (I play rhythm guitar/chords mostly out of simple guitar or fake books, and I can transpose some of the music on the glide so that I can sing with it)
2 – The fingerings in this book are all for the first 4-5 frets (I’m not excellent at barre chords yet)
3 – It is thin enough to fit underneath my guitar in my case
    4 – It was only $3 (retail)

I’ve only used it a small bit and I’m very pleased with it.

    Please be advised – this is a BOOK and not a poster chart. It has all the keys (A, A#/Bb, B, C, C#/Db, D, D#/Eb, F, F#/Gb, G, G#/Ab) and traditional chords: major, minor, 7th, sus, major 7th, diminished 7th, (and a couple others I’ll add later).

If you are playing simple guitar – then this is a excellent reference. I like it better than the Incredible Chord Finder (also by Hal Leonard) because the printing is black on white (no grey), the book lies flat when open, and the other reasons I mentioned higher than (no barre chords … no really advanced fancy chords).

This book won’t appeal to everyone, but I’m very pleased with it.

This chord chart book is an brilliant sight of each chord in one view from major to ninth. I am helping a co-worker learn to play guitar, and this is one of the most useful references for her. Can’t beat the price either for such a handy pool. Brilliant offer, Amazon.

This is a simple reference chart for the most common (~300) chords. I would recommend anyone culture guitar to buy it. Much simpler than the wacky websites that do not always have the right chords (I realize there are multiples for many chords)

An brilliant feature is the suggested fiddle with placements that really is useful for transitions.
